As many as 300 illegal buildings were demolished by the ranks of South Jakarta Administration in order to smoothen normalization process in the Mampang River as flood prevention, Monday (8/18). The demolishment itself run orderly without protest from owners.

Such demolishment is focused on buildings located around the riverbank. "We remain demolish permanent buildings near the riverbank, even though they do not violate the rules. But it would be followed up at a later stage," he told.
